There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Yes, at training some of the team sweat blood. Root and branch changes are required to make sure they all train as hard.

I hope they have heeded your advice. We'll certainly need to work hard to keep Everton at bay. leafing through the old match reports doesn't bring much solace..

Right. As fun as this has been. I'm now off for something brewed with hops. :-)

I'll just leave this here...
Nani jumped to his feet to show referee Phil Dowd the injury and call for Carragher's dismissal before collapsing in pain before being carried off.

none of us are apologists for Nani - far from it - but there is a lot of utter bollox talkd about people apparently not being injured moments after an incident - and then going down injured..

maybe a lot of the time it is cheating - but, with many serious injuries the brain blocks the pain in the moments immediately following the blow - the chemicals released under shock..

try it at home - whack your thumb REALLY hard with a hammer... it won't hurt (for a few moments) then it will hurt like feck...

I've just whacked my thumb with a hammer as you said. It has split and blood is gushing from the wound. Can you please redefine moments for me as I would like to have an idea when it is going to start hurting.

You've mentioned that elsewhere. What makes you think they're fake?

The tweets from the respected sports journalists disavowing the veracity of said photo, primarily

Probably Liverpool supporting ones

I saw the pics before I posted the quote.

I just didn't like Nani's jumping up "LOOK AT MY LEG" then falling down thing.

Also what the heck shin guards was he provided before this one?

they were titanium steel...

but Carraghers's studs were sharpened, explosive and uranium tipped..

If someone did that to me, I'd have been having words with the ref aswell. Carragher is a shithouse, and should have demanded he was red carded himself.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.
