Carling Cup Final

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

not sure.... but it can't be the same arsenal team who have such an overstretched squad with access to 87 first-team ready wunderkids underneath the squad age-radar - can it??

Wenger "It was a very physical game"

Aye.. That'll be your lads kicking anything they saw in a blue shirt!

Brum committed 9.. Yes, just 9 fouls in the game. The lowest number of any team in this years competition

I think the funniest bit in all this is the Arsenal pre-match request that Fabregas be allowed to go up and lift the Cup!

Take that you arrogant bell-ends!

I quite liked that as well. Recall once Fabs saying he won't leave Arsenal until they win some silverware. Keeps this up he may be retiring a gunner.

Gutted. Yes, i know all you Bolton fans think its hilarious, haha, but to lose a cup final like that in the last minute sucks and i'm in a foul mood. :((Still, i suppose you lot need that to be explained, given most of you have never experienced Bolton playing in a cup final, perhaps when you have - and if you lost in the last minute, you'd understand... )

Wenger was gracious in defeat actually. Convienient how noone ever quotes the bit where he says "Congratulations Birmingham"... Its true they were able to rest players and we did have several of our best out injured or off through injury during the game, thats not a moan - its a statement of fact. Not saying it would have made the blindest bit of difference or it was a reason for our defeat but its still true.

Anyway, monumental cock up from us and well done to Birmingham. I hope they enjoy their victory - if i wasn't a supporter of the opposing team i'd have been happy to see them win (if that makes any sense) and you'll stuff them in the FA Cup now, they will fall apart, i guarantee it.

(BTW - what kind of scumbag pats the opposing defender who just mucked up on the head as he celebrates? Shame on you Ferguson)

Best game I've seen since Ghana's exit in the World Cup.

Indeed not! That'll teach you to laugh at Arsenal. ;) You may all just be wishing we had won at the end of the season...

As you say, this may not have been the best result for us. You're still in 2 cups and a league battle.

Edited as a bit strong.

How many of yours went unpunished? The tackle by Koscienly (the studs up one on the Brum players shin) would've had Wenger on the phone to the police.

It could have been worse for you's too. Had the officials not bottled it from the first minute. I bet they were gutted when there was no reason to disallow the winning goal

Apart from the two most of us have been to, then you're probably right. Those two aside.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.
