Neil Lennon is a massive, massive nice person, but this kind of thing ain't cool

Bad publicity seems to be following Lennon around more and more this season - and a lot of it isnt his doing

A helluva lot IS his doing, too

Fair do's he does come out with some utter garbage at regular intervals, but not enough to justify having bombs sent to his house or someone trying to lamp him while hes at work!

I was really sympathetic towards him until he did the cupped ear gesture to Rangers fans. That was blatantly provocative.

A suspect package found at Parkhead and a bullet sent to Lennon at the training ground this morning. Whatever your views on Lennon/Celtic, thats absolutely shameful

Perhaps I'm missing a sub-plot here, but what the heck is going on in Scotland sporting circles? A couple of 'viable explosive devices' found in the mail and bullets sent by post to club staff! It's a game you morons.

I believe that we have some Scots who contribute to this forum; perhaps one of them can throw light on this quite disturbing series of events? Given the rather serious nature of events I will understand if no one responds. It's a mad, mad, mad world in which we live.

I'm not sure I'm entirely comfortable with this criticism of Lennon. Its almost like folk are saying "well these acts aren't that nice and all, but that Lennon's a shit".

He is targeted because he is a high profile catholic. What is happening to him is entirely wrong and a sad reflection of the sectarianism in Scottish society and Scottish football. That is the issue that needs to be tackled.

Whether Lennon is a bit stupid or not is irrelevant here.
