Has Blatter lost it again?

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

At minimum this implies he once had it. When was that?

He suggests him losing may lead to the end of Fifa. Well, bring it on !

That just about sums up what an arrogant twonk he is. Sometimes you see people & think 'he thinks thhe World spins around him'. He is the living embodiment of that.

Can't decide if that's a threat or a promise.

Blatter has to now face a Fifa enquiry regarding ethics. The enquiry will be conducted by FIFA itself. Will this be the downfall of Blatter? NO.

Forgot to add his final line: "And where would that leave me?" Out of work maybe?

Fifa suspends Bin Hammam and Warner after ethics hearing but not Blatter. What a surprise.

The English .... & hopefully all UK FA's must leaave FIFA. Others will follow.

If others don't ? ... well, so what. I'm sure they will promise dark deeds & get us banned from all sorts of stuff. Again ... so what ?

This man has killed it & we shoulf no longer prop it up.

Valcke (ie general secretary of FIFA) in an email about the Qatari vice-president supposedly wrote:[Hammam] thought you can buy Fifa as they bought the World Cup.
So buying the World Cup is OK, but not the presidency, eh, Jerome?

It's a wonderful unfolding car crash.

The news conference yesterday was cringeworthy. It's not up to the executive body to delay the election of Blatter, it's up to the member federations - begs the question why they bother having any leadership at all. If ever an organisation was sticking its fingers in its ears and shouting "la la la la" it's this one (again).

The lack of cojones by our FA is quite remarkable.

Nice article. Lets hope the hurt feelings caused by this latest scandal cause more loose lips resulting in the end of this corrupt association.

of course, the natural cynic in me wonders about the convenience of the Qatari delegate and Qatari bid being discredited just at a time when Qatar is in upheaval and the Qatari bid may be looking like it needs rescuing from some over ambitious targets.

Naturally, a man as upstanding as Blatter, and an organisation as sqeauky clean as FIFA wouldn't involve itself in such dirty political games. Particularly at a time it needed a public demonstration of scapegoatery, and several birds needed stoning.

That won't be a problem at this stage. a) it is a long way off, and more importantly b) Blatter might be pressured to return the money he obviously took to help grant them the games in the first place, many years ahead of when the bids should have taken place.

They've already admitted they probably won't be able to deliver the bid they proposed. If you're admitting that a decade in advance, somethings not right. The Qatar in upheaval bit is a corollary, not the main point.

Looked like Godappy or Muagbe clinging on to power. He's a reet political tiger though, I'll give him that.
