OK - I need to know - is it just me that finds him to be utterly irritating/toe-curling/grating - or does everyone except me love him as an amusing and eccentric lovable old wordsmith-uncle?

(Tango need not reply as I already know his answer! ;-) )

A busted flush. Was quite amusing many years ago, but is now just an overly verbose, weary old tosser.

But that doesn't begin with a 'T' !!

(& before Bish comes in ... yes, "that" does, clearly begin with a 'T', but what Bruce said doesn't & as such is an epic fail !!)

Really? Is it that he's a bit like a comedien you've heard too many times and after the first few
showings it all becomes predictable, unfunny and uninteresting? If it is, then you're right.

I can't stand the boring old fart. He is trying to be clever and funny but it comes across as pompous and extremely annoying.

For some reason all the BBC commentators love him. They comment on how he is always entertaining. My arse he is.

I remember one time ont' wireless, they went over to him for his match report, but, as he'd decreed that the match wasn't worth bothering with he recited Ozymandias by Shelley instead, the cock!

He's a nice person. Well he comes across as one at least. Switch off whenever he comes on.

City supporting dickhead. Every time he comments on a Bolton game he mentions SKD having 'sharpened his elbows' in his pre-match talk. Boring.
