Huddersfield into the Championship

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Really felt for him. Couldn't believe how absolutely shite the nominated takers were.

how on earth could that be possible - he's a player from a lower league - is therefore utterly shite.

He wouldn't be able to even run in a proper league

Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

Ward is average at best, one decision Owen got right.

Glad Huddersfield came up, good away trip!

no - but he's FROM a lower league... word has it that players from lower leagues wouldn't/shouldn't get into our team - never mind have the skill to rip us apart!!

Indeed. I've been to Bramhall Lane once. Lost 5-0. I've been to Hillsborough once. 5-0 down at half time. HALF fecking TIME

Had some decent aways in Sheffield too, but who wants to go to Sheffield twice in a season?

I find Bramall lane a depressing ground, in a depressing place tbh.

Yep. Not much more you can do besides keeping the first three out. Teammates let him down.

New Years Eve 1983. God, we were awful. Would have been worse if Simon Farnworth hadn't saved a penalty.

Saw us win 3-0 at Huddersfield in the league cup on a Wednesday night before I went on holiday at the weekend when we were due to play them again in a league game. Couldn't believe it when I rang home to find out the score and we had lost 0-4  Keith Edwards tearing us a new one (again)

Ray Deakin (God rest his soul) had quite possibly the worst game that I've ever seen anyone have in the shirt. I remember we were singing "John McGovern's Super White Army" as the fifth went in without breaking off.

Then we caught the train back home and went to the New Years disco at The Nav! :D

Wonder which team will send complementary tickets to HWSNBN? The small team that unfairly dismissed him for being 19th in the League, or the huuuuuuuge team that unfairly dismissed him for being 3rd/4th....

My only trip to Huddersfield saw Bo Hansen running rings around the Terriers' defence. Really

The interview afterwoods with the winning keeper was good, he said:

I was asked if I would take a penalty kick and I said I would... I'll take the 11th! :o
