Tonight's Football

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Phew .... that's better. I was getting hot flushes at the thought.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

I'm currently working in Middlesborough and got offered a ticket from a work colleague to watch Sunderland vs Utd this eve. Well, I couldn't turn down the opportunity to watch Utd lose again, so off I went and just got back to my hotel room.

A thoroughly satisfying evening. :)

The only downer was witnessing football from both sides that confirmed to me that we are a very, very long way from being competative in the premier league.
Hope is what keeps us going.

I hope City are in a pitiless mood, 2nd half could be hilarious.

Forest?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Poor old Rog is like a rabbit in the headlights. To be fair it's not the easiest of debuts for a guy who's been on the slide for a while.
