Tonight's Football

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

He sure wasn't at his sharpest but the Sun "experts" are making out the team played utter crap. Now, if Defoe's goal had been allowed 2-1. If just one of the woodwork shots had been an inch the right way, 3-1. If just one of the three other attempts had gone in 4-1, and the reporters would all be bowing and scraping at our wonderful boys. Nobody got above a six rating with Jagielka above Lescott, which is pure bulshit. . I thought our game was way better than banging hopeful balls at the Rooney's, Carrolls and Crouches, and the young lads/experience blend was really paying off. Ukraine were no Moss Bank Rovers, and thinking we have to win everything 5-0 on our way to picking up the World Cup is just nonesense.

Either that or he borrowed Owen Coyle's glasses to watch the match through... :-)

Two goals in two minutes levels it at 2-2.

Was a great game that

Just noticed that there's 3 live games on ESPN Classic Sky Channel 425 today. 2 Serie A games and 1 Bundesliga. Might be something to do later. For those interested in other sports, there's a live RU game on too.

Well ... "Hohn-Jo", what sort of name is that !?!?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".
