Re: Tonight's Football
Felt like the worst Mum in the world tonight after my 6 year old went to bed in his Arsenal bobble hat crying because I wouldn’t let him stay up to watch the match on a school night! However, first win of the year for Arsenal so I’m a happy bunny. Edge of the seat stuff though! Massive 3 points in our fight for, errr, 4th.

Re: Tonight's Football
Deja vu ? England girls played last night against Germany. Played okay against a talented German side and went one up a bit against the grain. Germany equalised from a cracking free kick and tried hard and well to go ahead. Our girls defended well under pressure, sallied forth and scored again, and then as Germany pressed, a great individual break let them get a third. Finished 3-1 up after drawing with Spain and Canada in the four Nation comp, and won the Arnold Clark Cup. Just goes to show.

I reckon, I want Kepa's job...come on with a minute left after your mates have run their nads off for two hours. let 10 goals in and miss your penalty....
Re: Tonight's Football
Subbed on in the 119th minute. Concedes a pen to every single Liverpool player, then smashes his own over the bar. Marvelous.

Oh here we go. FIFA think it's OK for Russia to crack on and for every other country (including Poland) to fulfil their fixtures against them just so long as the Russian side don't call themselves Russia.

It’s like a monty python sketch or something.
FIFA really so manage to do the impossible. Time and time again when you think they’ve reached the pit of existence they surprise you and sink lower.

Superb F.A.Cup match last night when The Riversiders knocked Tottenham out in extra time. A real football match this with Boro well deserving their victory for sheer effort and no small skill. As it ended hey were dropping like flies but never dropped the pace. Wonderful stuff. Only one goal in it, a thunderbolt scored by a nineteen year old lad.

Thought I was hearing things when Nile Ranger was mentioned as a striker for Boreham Wood tonight. Name from the past...

Wanderer's youngsters are leading Preston 1-0 at half time in a Northern Cup final.
Edit. Didn't last long, they're losing 3-1.

91k fans for Barca’s women’s CL fixture tonight. New record attendance for the women’s game. Great to see crowds rising. Barca now face Wolfsburg or Arsenal in the next round! COYG!

Re: Tonight's Football
Pleased to see I was right all along about Grealish. Massively overrated. Can’t get in for the big games and looks awful in a side full of world class talent.
What a surprise. And to think I was told he was as good as Gascoigne. Hahahahahahaha.
Don’t want to see him anywhere near England.
