But how they didn't get a penalty is absolutely beyond me. No explanation, no reasoning, just complete silence after an inexplicably incorrect decision.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue May 18, 2021 8:53 pmWerner handballs one into net. VAR overturns it for clear as day handball. Chelsea fans irate at VAR sing ‘it’s not football anymore’. Wonder if they will see the irony? Doubt it.

Well, they did get a later Penalty, but the Werner one in the fist half - Crackers

The ref didn’t give it though. So take VAR away and the decision isn’t changed.boltonboris wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 12:31 pmWell, they did get a later Penalty, but the Werner one in the fist half - Crackers
I think VAR is bonkers btw. I was just mildly amused at thick as mince Chelsea fans singing it not being football anymore after a clear handball is all....

Sunderland fans wanting yet another manager sacked before their first leg even finished. What an absolute mess of a football club.

I actually hate Var. Takes all the joy out of celebrating a goal. Even if it’s checked and still stands it’s not the same.

Spuds fans booing the team off at half time, on the one occasion they get to watch them in the ground. Wankers! That own goal though.
Re: Tonight's Football
That's an all time great right? It's not Pollock or Chris Brass but it's in the next tier. Bridcutt was outstanding for Lincoln the sort of player I think we need to add to go with MJ or Lee.

I liked Bridcutt. Good player for us.
Disappointed Sunderland look likely to stay in Lg1 next season - As much as I like an underdog win, they will be serious contenders next season with their minted owner and they'll no doubt replace Johnson with an experienced and high quality manager

Anyway there are 3 promotion spots so it’s fine. I’d be happy with 10th next season. More than happy.

Haven't they been saying something pretty similar for a number of years now?boltonboris wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 8:58 amI liked Bridcutt. Good player for us.

I don’t care much about qualifying for the Europa conference league but I’d bloody love to still finish above them.Burnden Paddock wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 9:53 pmBWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 8:09 pmSunderland fans wanting yet another manager sacked before their first leg even finished. They've just been bought by a 24yo with £2bn in the bank - His Dad's worth 4 x that tooBruce Rioja wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 9:45 amHaven't they been saying something pretty similar for a number of years now?boltonboris wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 8:58 amI liked Bridcutt. Good player for us.

Very funny so far. Tranmere have absolutely battered Morecambe all over the pitch yet are losing 2-1 at half time.

People say if you win them playoffs is the best way to go up. I'm quite happy to avoid them myself. Been there done that. 95 - nothing tops that. So lets just go straight up and make watching the mayhem a joy!Worthy4England wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 8:22 pmEntertaining stuff. Pretty glad we missed out on the playoffs!

Typical shithousery displayed by Tranmere - Morecambe Player goes down with his nose flattened against his cheekbone - Blood all over his face and a Tranmere player grabs the physio's bag and throws it 30 yards off the pitch - Whatever fragile medical intruments inside, no doubt smashed to bits
Tranmere Right back shoves a Morecambe player in the back for no apparent reason. Morecambe player pushes him back and Tranmere players sprints over to the ref crying that he's been pushed..
I really do feckin despise them. Rats

Tell you what stunned me. The referee made that Morecambe lad go off the pitch. I thought he was allowed treatment for a head injury and not have to leave the field afterwards?boltonboris wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 2:11 pmTypical shithousery displayed by Tranmere - Morecambe Player goes down with his nose flattened against his cheekbone - Blood all over his face and a Tranmere player grabs the physio's bag and throws it 30 yards off the pitch - Whatever fragile medical intruments inside, no doubt smashed to bits

Struck me as a mini Liverpool - happy to kick lumps off Mendes Gomes but as soon as they were so much as breathed on the rolled round on the floor pleading for cards.
