Prufrock wrote:Right, this Rooney stuff can feck off. Good opportunistic effort, yes, but it's a keeping howler. The guy ran off towards the corner flag and fell over. Coz it's Rooney it's like it's the best goal ever. They aren't even that rare. Suarez, Figueroa, Xabi Alonso x 2 and Matt Taylor x 2 off the top of my head. Taylor's second (at Sunderland) is the best comparison as it was a similar range and it didn't fecking bounce before it went it.
It were a good hit for sure, but so was Tettey's for Norwich, and he actually beat a keeper who wasn't off on his holidays somewhere.....

Celtic have won the SPL. Well done, everyone involved. An incredible achievement.

Well that has thrown a cat amongst the pigeons. Real Madrid has just lost 2-1 to Sevilla in La Liga. Real Madrid have dropped from the top spot to third after Barcelona and Atletico Madrid both won earlier tonight.

I have no favourite team in Spain but I can't stand Real Madrid. As Barcelona are probably the Man U of Spain, I will have to go for Atletico who lie in second place. Barcelona play Atletico in the last game of the season.

In a similar vein, Bayern have won the Bundesliga. Not been beaten since Oct 12 in the league. Averaging 3 goals per game. Next up in the Champion League, the red shite. I hope they humiliate them.

There have been anti-Allardyce peole there from the outset. They must be pretty p'd off that he's turned the corner .... got manager of the month for February I think.

It is like the Megson days and they'll never take to him fully. He's far too feisty to srug his shoulders and say nowt.

Not sure if the photo is in response to that, or just a different one used out of context to look like it? It might be though!

When he took over and they started whining, I wanted hiom to take them up to prove them wrong and make them all conflicted. Then I hoped he'd be moderately successful but playing dull shite football to piss them off. Then I hoped he'd leave and they'd appoint di canio and get relegated in utter disarray, amid theatrical hand gestures and floods of tears.
I feel my dreams may come true.

At the start of the season I said I thought he would get into an argument with the fans when they were mid table, end up being sacked and then watch on with a smirk as they were relegated. If they sack BSA within the next week I think this could happen.
