There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Awful news.

That's Middlesbrough, Liverpool and now Spurs fans that have had fans stabbed in Rome and that's just from England...

ManUre had a load of trouble in the Sampions league a few seasons back... Not certain if there were any stabbings but a fair few were chained from the backs of scooters..

Apparently this was a well-prepared ambush carried out on purely anti semitic grounds, the despicable, ill-informed, Nazi bastards

Lazio have issued a statement saying that their fans had no part in it.... Bollocks.

Lazio have a long history of anti semitism in their followers, and the club and Italian FA have a long history in ignoring the problem. Shameful

I'll post this as a link. It's fairly graphic to say the least so be warned. One of the Spurs fans that got his head cut open.

Get well soon, Fella.

I saw the pic that Bruce posted last night... I'll re-iterate. It's pretty feckin' bad.. So if you're squeamish don't look.

Head wounds always look worse than they are, (unless of course you can see brain - then it's bad). A few staples and some no-more-nails and he'll be reet. Bit of a headache mind.

Two charged with attempted murder
BBC News wrote: Italian newspaper reports named the two men who have been charged as 26-year-old Francesco Ianari and Mauro Pinnelli, 27, both said to be AS Roma fans.

worst thing is that they were just spurs fans not hooligans. majority of the people in the pub apparently students and locals. those Lazio Ultras really f**ked up
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

Were you not paying attention. They were not Lazio Ultras who perpetrated said attack. They were dickheads from a completely different branch of Ultras - AS Roma Ultras.

Especially since we're admonishing tribalism here, I don't think I'm completely happy about using 'eyeties'. when i first heard about this my initial reaction was that it was instigated by someone who had sought to cast Lazio in bad light because everyone was expecting trouble.

Sorry mate but they are! Frogs are frogs Krauts krauts etc and no doubt they have some choice names for us too. Its only like we ain't Cockyknees, Geordies, Yorkies or tea leaf bin dippers, these things won't ever change racisum really only is muted because of the penaltys that can be imposed not saying its right like, but its the facts.
