I'll raise you a Gerald Cid. Bramble occasionally got in the way, even if by accident. I never saw Cid do anything as useful as getting in the way or falling on the ball.

Both wrong, he signed for that last summer (june 2012). Signed a 2 year deal despite problems with his medical (Oi oi, Rosie give us your cheque book treacle)

June 2012 was still before last season started, So technically he was purchased a few seasons ago 8)
