Several investigations are underway after a man was caught on camera punching an unsuspecting Western Sydney Wanderers fan at last night's A-League match.

Fox Sports footage shows the man, who is wearing a blue hoodie, king-hitting a Wanderers supporter for no apparent reason before fighting with another man standing nearby during the Wanderers' 3-1 win over the Heart.
The attack was broadcast live across the country during the game's telecast.

WSW Head Coach Tony Popovic could so easily have been our first team coach.

I remember when the franchise was cobbled together just before the season started folk were being pretty unkind in the press. Guess he hasn't done a bad job.

Having finished top of the 'Ladder' it's one of those quirky leagues where you then have to win the knock out bit too.

Also when your ladder has fluctuated between 8-11 teams and you don't have pro-rel or any cup competitions there needs to be a bit more to play for.

I see the other Wanderers will face the Central Coast Mariners in Sunday's A-League grand final after a 2-0 victory over Brisbane Roar.
