There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

I really can't see why Leeds thought him as being a risky signing.

A brief description for those not able to click, think of how you normally sit in a chair then imagine your whole leg but your knees moving upwards 60 degrees and you have got the gist.

This reminds me of something that's puzzled me for a few years, namely, what shape would chairs be if your knees bent the other way? :conf:

some kinda letter J shape, but say how it looks in the arial font where the swash bit turns up again rather than tapers to nowt..

J

like that but more 'straight' to fit the 60-90 degree angle of bend of the leg with the wierd knees on the backs of our legs and yr toes pointing towards you..

maybe with legs on the bottom of the seat part to raise it off the floor.

Wor Gaffa's just showed me this. Seems like the Pikey Pie Eater has a bit of previous.............. already. Not that kind of player? Really?

John Guidetti scored a late winner as City's Elite Development Squad returned to winning ways against Wigan.

However, the gloss was taken off the victory when former Barcelona youngster Gai Assulin was stretchered off in the 90th-minute following a reckless tackle by Latics' Callum McManaman which led to his second yellow and resulting red card.

As yet, there is no update on Assulin, who left the pitch in a leg brace, or the extent of his injury.
May the bridges I burn light your way
