Harsh on the face of it, but I guess it's hard for Matt Lucas to continue his acting and comedy career alongside the demands if premiership football management.

Probably for the best.

Give it Coyle.....

If only eh, if only.
Will it work?
Should we have done it?
Hmmmmm

Anyway, who's in the frame?

Not sure just yet but do believe that Reading has an excellent ping pong program.

Surprised it hasn't happened before now. I think it's really harsh, but that's how it is now.

Big difference between taking a side up and getting relegated, and relegating an established side.

Bonkers.

Thats both McDermott & Adkins that took sides up against all odds but weren't allowed a full season crack at the Prem. If they felt they had to change him, then surely during the transfer window would have been a better time?

They couldn't really sack McDermott during the transfer window. He had a draw and a win just before 1st Jan, lost to Spurs away on New Year's Day, won the third and fourth round FA Cup ties, beat West Brom at Home and Newcastle Away, and drew with Chelsea at home. :-)

Just another manager who is the victim of their own success.

At least his CV has a promotion on it with no relegation to match. I think he'll get another job.

Very little time left to save their season. Someone like Di Canio might just be what they need. They don't have time to build things up. A kick up the arse might do the trick.

I honestly didn't think I'd ever see Di Canio manage in the Premiership - not that I want him to, far from it (and I'll have no truck with the any statement that Fascism isn't equivalent to Nazism - because it is, and he is - a Fascist).

Goodness, that's awful.

Has he been hanging Jewish players, refusing to play Spurs, making the black players use different showers ?

What a b'stard he is.

It would have been harsh to sack him in January, being as how he was 'Manager of the Month'!
