Martinez says 'adios' to the Piemen

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Fair play to him. If he was at good at management as he is at PR he'd be unstoppable. Charlatan.

seems like a normal decision for the "number 1 manager in europe".

Well, we'll now see if it was all smoke & mirrors.

Everton's fans like him ... or the idea of him, though they are very tetchy about the club in general and Kenwright in particular. They certainly hate the recent "rebranding" (I've heard that word before, I'm sure).
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Dave Whelan last week - "When he leaves he's going to go to a top club. Everton aren't big enough"

Today after agreeing £2m compo "Him & Everton are a perfect fit"

I'd have thought that that would've been agreed before he was even allowed to talk to them.

“@SkySportsNews: Everton insist Dave Whelan's claim that compensation has been agreed for Roberto Martinez is "regrettable and somewhat premature". #SSN”

Now unveiled as the new Everton manager.

Everton: Roberto Martinez has promised Champions League spot
Has it got lost in translation? Surely what he meant was "Roberto Martinez has promised Championship spot"
