Venky's - The Fall of Blackburn Rovers (free film)

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

For people saying they were knocked over on a crossing.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

The dingles not happy that Baptiste seems to be their specialist right back which some of the fans think is the position they struggle with.

Fingers crossed they continue to struggle!

Anything other than just admit he was shite. I expect he would have been at CB too. When Ream comes in admitting he's in no way a LB but will give it a go, and then outshines him it says it all. Also bear in mind that Ream was persona non-grata at the start of the season and Baptiste a much-heralded major singing.
Good fecking riddance.

Very odd .... but it has been for over a year. Best position Centre-Half. Sign him & state he's a right-back. Moves to left-back due to a shortage (fair play to him for trying) that doesn't work. He starts giving goals penalties away and getting sent off. Leaves saying he knew he didn't play well but was out of position ... actually stating that he's a RB & a CH..

Goes to Venkies and it's back to right back .... but they aren't happy.

Very strange 12 months for him.

Fair comment Bobo. However in summary, I think AT has hit the nail on the head.

Dingles accounts are showing that they are further in debt.

People stirring up panic about Rhodes wages is paid for by the match day income and that the interest they pay, more than a mil this year is from money borrowed against parachute payments, for the next season.

It took us in excess of 10 years to get like this.

They have managed it in four!

Better to have loved and lost than never loved at all Gary my Sunshine.

Both our clubs fall from grace has been dramatic and painful.

Yeah, but you don't really love a two bit hooker that you had to pay for, do you? It's always tainted, because you know lots of people paid for it before you got there and plenty after, too.

They're bobbing along in 12th and I hope they continue to do so. After Christmas, the wheels will come off and the cluck-clucks will be pecking around for some corn. Can't believe he doesn't know Burnley are in the Prem so a more successful town club. QPR although in London are more Acton Town than London city. So if being 12th is 'Successful', then carry on you poor deluded fool. Unless he's measuring success by there being more letters in Blackburn than Bolton. 8)

You have fallen much, much further my friend. To the delight of many. Why you felt the need to highlight our misfortunes whilst imagining we would ignore yours I just don't know.

Anyway. Jog on.

FFP failed, one of only three.

A massive debt racked up, which hasn't been addressed.

A loan player called tunnicliffe recalled by Fulham.

Cheap offers for apparent valuable players.

Let the disaster begin.

The rot is starting, a home defeat by wolves which could apparently have been about 3 or 4 and boos from the majority of the six fingered dingles.
