Re: Managerial Predictions
Trouble is, Citeh demand instant continuous spectacular success, and therefore he is almost bound to get sacked. I just think that'll occur sooner rather than later.ChrisC wrote:LeverEnd wrote:I think Pellegrini's got his head screwed on and will win the league.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:Moyes - eventual Fail, but will still be there at ChristmasHarry Genshaw wrote:Today was the first official day of work for a raft of new managers.
Moyes at Utd, Pellegrini at City, Mourinho at Chelsea, Martinez at Everton, Hughes at Stoke & Coyle at Wigan.
Get your predictions in early. Who will be a hit and who will be a miss and why?
Pellegrini - Fail
Mourinho - Hit
Martinez - slow start but eventually Hit
Hughes at Stoke - Moderate success in that he will keep them in Prem, but bobbing along near the bottom.
Coyle - Massive Fail.
Agreed. Good manager and will do the business without a circus.

Re: Managerial Predictions
Chelsea are the team to beat for me. Best manager in the world with a young, exciting attacking side who used last season as a learning curve. Players like Hazard, Oscar will only get better.
Will actually be quite interesting, for once.

I agree with this. I think it might be Chelsea's year.boltonboris wrote:Chelsea are the team to beat for me. Best manager in the world with a young, exciting attacking side who used last season as a learning curve. Players like Hazard, Oscar will only get better.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Sorry. I forgot.
Apart from it being Vaz Te's year obviously, it might possibly be the special one's too, possibly.

Re: Managerial Predictions
Shows us all to be pretty poor on predictions but kudos to Lever End and Chris C for them getting the champions right.
Pellegrini - Hit
Mourinho - Fail
Martinez - Hit
Hughes - Hit
Moyes & Coyle - Big feck off failures
