Re: It's about time somebody started this thread!
Stretford fans are protesting at the rising cost of watching football making it, they say, prohibitively expensive. Apparently some pubs have put up the price of a pint by as much as 10p !!
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Harry Redknapp>David Moyes. More trophies, better football.
I would take Redknapp here certainly, that's how bad things have got. Players like and respect him.

David Moyes has promised Manchester United fans that they will be in a major European competition next year. Even if he has to write the song himself.

Apparently if they end up in the Europa League next season (easily may not), their compulsory purchase ticket scheme will kick in for all those shite games. If you didn't know it's a scheme where ST holders simply have the money taken off their credit card for European and FA Cup games.

Re: It's about time somebody started this thread!
The current Stretford squad has large numbers of players who don't fit their normal standard. OK, almost everyone would be a certain pick for many teams but ...
De Gea (GK) .... has anyone ever been convinced ? He's no Schmeichel or van de Saar.
Rafael .... I mean, c'mon.
Evra .... obnoxious tw@t, but been vg. Nearing the end though I guess.
Jones .... Britain's ugliest footballer. Never come near to fulfilling his proclaimed ability.
Ferdinand ... see Evra.
Evans (spit) ... I can barely look at his name. Nowhere near good enough
Anderson ... see Raphael.
Rooney ... clearly a good player, but so hit & miss.
Giggs .... superb over 2 decades. But that the problem.
Smalling .... if they are relying on him they may as well give up.
Vidic ... age, injury and motivation all now weighing in.
Carrick ... never quite as good as his advert, but yes, decent player. Can't carry them all though.
Nani .... I'm getting the word, ....... "tosser".
Young ...... I now really am getting the word "tosser". Seems that now he's outed as a diver his threat is vastly reduced.
Welbeck ... had he not played for this lot exactly how many England caps would he have ?
van Persie ... OK, I admit it ... good player.
Cleverley ... even Streford fans don't rate him !!
Januzaj ... seems a given that he's God's gift. But he's not really, is he !?

De Gea is a very decent keeper, with the odd mistake in him. But he's certainly good enough IMO.bobo the clown wrote:The current Stretford squad has large numbers of players who don't fit their normal standard. OK, almost everyone would be a certain pick for many teams but ...

Januzaj has an awful lot of talent.
Van Persie is top class.
The rest is pretty much bob on IMO. Rooney is unplayable when in form but as you say he has ups and downs.

I think De Gea's fecking dreadful. As per Bobo, compare him to a couple of his predecessors.

Mata is a good player but he can't turn this lot around on his own.
Oh & I just realised .... I forgot to mention Fellaini !!
