There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

After a game when there's been thousands in, there's a very funny sensation when everyone's gone, bar the groundsmen pulling down the nets, maybe a TV interview packing up and just silence (or maybe the wind rustling the crisp packets)?
Kind of - when I've been on corporates and you go back into the suit afterwards. There are a phalanx of people, especially groundstaff, who start work once the game ends. Along with stewards carpet-searching the ground and folk picking shite up.

Just sticking with Bolton games in recent memory, a night game/cup match against Wimbledon at Burnden. They let them have the embankment and there were so few it looked like a bus queue. Lofty ( the lion) was able to wind em up without moving his feet. Long way to come for a mid-week game mind.
