Bizarrely the site was blocked at work. On looking this evening, I see my father celebrated my arrival 2 days later with a 2-0 home win over the bucket Shakers. Nice that it helped relegate the tw*ts 7 months later

I was born the same month World War II started. Result, no football and quite a lot of the Wanderers signed up for the armed forces.
