FA Cup Final 2014. Arsenal vs Hull.
Excited, much! Predictions then? I'd like to think we would win it but given the massive losses we have experienced this season I'm not counting my chickens (well, I will be cos I'm off to a battery farm cup final morning and rescuing 500 but you know what I mean)
Fascinated to see which goalkeeper Wenger goes with. Rather his decision then mine.

Tom Huddlestone to score a last minute winner, that's my prediction.

About as exciting as all that women's football we keep being told is ace and the BEEB are determined we have to like/accept/admire/keep our mouths shut about.Gary the Enfield wrote:Is there a game on, then?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Cant see anything other than an easy Arsenal win. 3-0 I reckon

Such is my loathing of Mr Potato Head that I hope that Arsenal whack them by a cricket score. In 1903 Bury defeated Derby County 6-0, in what is still the highest score in an FA Cup final. Well it's about time someone set a new high score. Come on, Arsene, get votre doigt out.

Here - I've just noticed something. Why's the kick-off time 17:00? To whose benefit's that?

It's so it can be screened live in America. The owner of the Tigers wants to cash in at every opportunity, and footy soccerball is the new thang.Bruce Rioja wrote:Here - I've just noticed something. Why's the kick-off time 17:00? To whose benefit's that?

Can they get back to Hull via public transport, or do the "customers" of Hull City not count?Lost Leopard Spot wrote:It's so it can be screened live in America. Pah.
A game where I want both teams to lose - Hull for their vile owners and Steve Bruce, Arsenal for being the glory-hunting middle-class-media-w@nker's team of choice.
"Oh, but they play such lovely football - just look at them knock 26 passes sideways and backwards in their own half before punting a long ball over the top to whoever their pacey striker is these days".
"Oh, isn't it terrible that football is a contact sport? They shouldn't be allowed to tackle. Apart from Diaby, whose two-footed lunges we don't mention..."
Another reason to hate football.
