that's really, really sick!

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

"None of them shook his hand on his birthday. It's really sick," Seluk told BBC Sport.

Yaya and SKD share an agent?

That is disgusting. Fancy him not getting a Bugatti for his birthday. They are so selfish!
"He got a cake but when it was Roberto Carlos's birthday, the president of Anzhi gave him a Bugatti," Seluk added.

Angling for a move ??

Where to ?

How very bizarre.

That agent sounds like someone I wouldn't get on with.

Yaya has since deleted a tweet saying don't believe everything that other people say.

He is a seriously good player but always looks feckin miserable on and off the pitch! I would be dancing round if I was on 300k a week!

Don't get the 'not getting the appreciation' thing either. They've banged on about how good he has been (rightly so) every flaming week this year on MOTD and in the press.

"The club's owners ate a 100kg cake after winning the Premier League this season but when they and the players were all together, none of them shook his hand on his birthday. It shows they don't care about him.

"Of course Yaya is upset about this. If this happened to you as a journalist in the BBC and nobody shakes your hand, you will say bye-bye and go to work for somebody else. It is normal."

if I was Toure, I'd just walk - this is cruel, nasty and unusually sick treatment - the bastards!

Constructive dismissal I reckon. He could claim that and walk out as a free agent.

That'll learn'em.

Mind you. Did HE buy cakes for his workmates ?? mmmm, mmmm Yaya ?? Did you, did you ??

He's got a right to feel disrespected. For a measly 55 quid they could have got him a Bugatti and a cake all rolled into one.

What the f*ck is that?! We spend all of our childhood being taught to associate the passing of another arbitrary milestone marking our inevitable march towards oblivion with at least being given some free shit to make it better. Then you start working and they literally (not literally) rub salt into the wound by expecting you to also buy shit for other people, or worse f*cking MAKE stuff for other people. That's blatant sexism IMO, as there's no way men can be expected to do that and so have to buy stuff. Is this American? It feels American.

It's ubiquitous now but never existed when I began working so it's come in in maybe the last 20 years. Those dunkin' donut trays are useful .... despite being horrible. But yes, unfair and sexist. Racist too I think and certainly unfair to transgenger people, not to mention unchristuan. Also a human rights abuse.

The only way that my colleagues and I know that it's one and others Birthday is because Ms Fussy Knickers keeps tabs on whose turn it is to buy the cakes.

He's after a raise. Pure and simple.

His agent pulls this nonsense all the time.

I hope BWFC bought Yaya Trotter a "signing cake" - it has to be cheaper than a Bugatti.
