.... no, not little Timmy Sherwood who seemed nailed on yesterday, but Alan Irvine, the Evertn guy.

Hot on the heels of not managing Preston, or Sheff. Wed very well he now has the opportunity to mess up at the Hawthorns.

Not the choice I'd have anticipated. They do mess about there don't they !?

Yep. Was superb at Deepdale and Hillsborough.

Giving Timmy Sherwood a swerve is a sound idea though. Apparently wanted his two assistants front Spuds but felt they wete "being insulted" by the derisory offer they mafe them. He"s an arrogant twunk.

I don't think Mourinho or Allardyce for example or Fergsuon were shrinking violets before they had achieved what they did.

Sherwood may be very unproven but his record so far is impressive. His arrogance would not be an issue if I was a supporter of a club he was looking to manage.

His first season in charge ended in the club being relegated but they were given a reprieve because of Salisbury's financial irregularities.

They stayed up on goal difference in his second campaign before registering successive 10th-placed finishes.

He departed the New Lawn side in October of last year having lost seven of his last eight matches.

Cellino wants Leeds, who have not played in the top flight since relegation in 2004, to be competing for promotion from the Championship in the 2015-16 season.

You just know the BBC journo was sniggering as he wrote the last 2 paragraphs!
Watch them finish above us now.

Astonishing. But Celine sacks them for fun, doesn't he.

I can only imagine the fan's reaction to this one.
