He's claiming that the Ethics Committee, set up BY HIM with the apparent twin aims of investigating ethical breaches and always finding that anything he did was fine & dandy, has no right to be judging him !!

He says the only way, as President, he can be disciplined is by the whole membership body. Thus 8nvolving fckg dozens of people he's personally "helped" over the years.

Anyway, 8 years. Should have been more ... could have been less.

He'll still be pulling strings. All these sponsors who claim to be so hell bent against the corruption will still be telling him where the next tournament will be, so they can focus their sales on a particular region, knowing that he will be distributing the rewards still.

Well, here's a thing. Blatter is replaced by a lawyer from ......... Switzerland. A bloke brought into his current role by ....... Sepp Blatter.

& one who initially only stood so that he could stand down when Platini, his friend, was free to regain his place in the lineup.

Basically FIFA is Fckd (what a tee-shirt that would be) and is too corrupt to clear its own house out. I'd personally prefer to see it imploded by countries leaving & setting up a fresh one, but that's a few years off, I guess.

We have to have the charade of cleaning up the corruption first. The only thing we fans can do is boycott anything world cup related - matches, sponsors etc etc. It's like the fans moaning about Sky moving matches. Half of them will be subscribed to Sky
