There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Post by Jason Manford on FB:

Dear fans,
After my earlier post regarding calling Karl Oyston of Blackpool FC an 'odious ferret' I've been contacted by my lawyers.
So I would like to retract my comments, they were unfair and misjudged and I can only apologise for letting myself, my family and my fans down. The last thing I want is to cause upset and to be taken to court over a silly comment.
I can only hope that my apology is accepted by ferrets and ferret owners everywhere. They of course make lovely, loving, loyal pets & are easily trainable & entertaining. To compare them to that total bellend was an insult to ferrets and for that I am sorry. To be even be mentioned in the same sentence to that knuckle-dragging slimy cockmuppet was a miscalculation on my part.
Regards,
Jason Manford

Saturday could be very interesting in Blackpool. The latest thing is that the statue of Stan Mortensen has been removed and protesters being warned about being the possibility of being sued if they trespass.

Oh dear. That smacks of the kid in the playground taking his ball back. Best thing for them is to sink into even further obscurity then Oyston can play with it all by himself. 8)

they certainly seem to be a step ahead in taking action to annoy the pool fans.

this thread has been mentioned on that 'taking it up the back henry' forum.

Match abandoned due to a pitch invasion and an attempt to storm the directors area. It certainly was interesting!

Lee Clarke a manager who gets sacked has resigned. Be intersting to find out the real reason why he has gone.

What a mess they are in.

Neil McDonald is their new manager.

How long for though is the real question.

Brave move for him, unless he was going to be shown the door at Th'olympic stadium

His response to all the 'Oyston Out' campaign was to buy this number plate.

No sooner has Oyston served his pathetic six week ban, an official club twitter account refers to their fans as 'typical arsehole wankers." Lesson learned there then!
