I'm not surprised after that performance yesterday with him throttling McCarthy and then hanging onto his shirt. Plus there's history of odd behaviour. Bizarre and very, very lucky the player didn't punch him. Then his obdurate "explanation".

'Obdurate' can only half explain it. I always thought Pearson was a cock on a stick, but his behaviour at yesterdays match was surreal.
