Lovely. Please accept my apologies for not starting a fresh thread about this. I don't know what I was thinking.

If it helps I'm getting a coach sorted to John Aldridge's house where we can all run up and down outside his window and celebrate in front of him. The cock

Shitebag Aldo tweeted, 'Bad, sad football day seeing Tranmere go out of the league! Gutted. Hopefully they'll come back like Oxford and Newport did!! ASAP please.'

I laughed and laughed and laughed.

Some of the responses from Bolton fans on his twitter account are bloody hilarious.

There was never any special rivalry between the club's. I had a sneaking admiration for the fans who ... despite the two big clubs on their doorstep ... chose to support them. .... & then we were pitched against each other and they won a few. Not least a play off final and suddenly their fans were all over us. Cocks.

But that was just an irritant until John fckg Aldridge arrived. Full of mind games, "professionalism" and unpleasantness. Dickwad.

Allardyce a few weeks ago said that if anyone wanted to judge success then they should look at his last 10 years and contrast them with Aldridge's.

Their fans never learnt modesty after their inevitable fall.

I wonder where Elton fckg Welby is today ?

Well, as it's a good time to laugh at Trashmere and everything connected to them, let's see what Wikipedia has to say about that muppet Welsby.

Welsby is nowadays rarely involved in sports presenting, although he has recently been seen presenting Crown Green Bowls for Sky Sports. Welsby has toured the country with Ricky Tomlinson in the theatre tour, An Evening with Ricky Tomlinson, where he interviews Tomlinson in character as Jim Royle.

Ricky Tomlinson's straight man. FFS! It couldn't happen to a nicer man.

The Football League Show. 'In the summer it was supposed to be the start of a new era at Tranmere under Mark Palios. '

Spot on there, lads.

I'll never forget how Big Sam upset those nice chaps by not letting the lads take a shower in their palatial surroundings. Tranmere, Aldridge, Dave Challinor's towel antics on throw ins and well, just Tranmere, they'll all be sadly missed (not) Bye chaps.

They might at least still get to drive past our stadium next season if Chorley win the playoffs. I think some welcome banners might be in order.

I would love a comprehensive rundown of teams considered our rivals (or that we have a general dislike toward) and why they have that title among the fans. Seems there's a lot of unofficial history that I need to catch up on, that wikipedia won't help me with!

They undoubtedly got worse after Aldridge's arrival but prior to that they had this big media love fest with first Ian St John and then Granada. I recall a Granada spokesman telling the BEN that Tranmere were getting more coverage because they were a 'happening and exciting team' which made our 3-1 win at their dump that season particularly satisfying.

Then there was the guy (I forget his name) who got sent off for hacking Stuart Storer down, who attacked him afterwards while Gordon Sharrock was interviewing him! There team were derided that year as a side who constantly bitched & whined at referees. They only compounded that by slagging us off in their match program which prompted an official complaint from the club.

On top of all that, McAteer and Stubbs(?) were subject to death threats just prior to us playing them.

Then they appointed Aldridge. I hope they go out of business the tw*ts

If you want to pass on your commiserations to Aldridge and Tranmere, then you can of course by the medium of Twitter at @Realaldo474

Oh yes, the Granada love-in. When we played the 4uckers at Wembley the commentator kept referring to them by their first names whilst getting our players names wrong.

Egregious c*nts.
