Womens football

This is why womens football will never be taken seriously. A player gets the ball smacked into her face and the goalkeeper stops to see if she is OK. The striker then rolls the ball into the net for a goal.

the bbc (R5) seemed to start off this season with a big deliberate effort to talk a lot about womens football - but they seem to have got bored of it quite quickly...

The website still shoves it on the main page without making it clear. So you'll see the headline "Arsenal beat Chelsea in thriller" wondering what you've missed.
