Chelsea offer their Full Support

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Chelsea offer their Full Support

It looks like a busy few weeks ahead for the managerial merry-go-round in the Prem then.

You don't throw away arguably the best manager of all time, with almost certainly the most impressive CV who just won you the league because of a lean spell.

Yes he's been more mental than ever, but if I were Chelsea I'd show a little patience and wait it out. This probably won't be their season but it isn't like they are success starved. Their efforts in adequately replacing him last time were hardly a raging success.

...Their full support. Their exact words. In football management speak we all know that the expression is completely meaningless...and when did logic come into anything?

The "best manager of all time" has never shown signs of being able to rebuild a team. He comes in, spends big money on players, wins, then leaves abruptly.

Maybe he isn't the best manager of all time then, hmm?

The fact he's won everything across different clubs in different leagues shows his ability. Doing well at one club is fine but winning the top competitions in all those environments is fantastic.

He won the champions league with Porto which was a huge upset. Inter too who hadn't won it in a very long time.

If I was a megalomaniac football club owning billionaire, he'd be top of my list for manager. (as long as he signed Ronaldo)

They'll go for Guardiola now as Bayern are apparently looking for a replacement as Pep is going in the summer, so I think they've sacked Mourinho before United sack LVG and go for Pep or even City.

Still think this is a bit stupid, they had in my view the best manager ever. Last time they couldn't adequately replace him and had to bring him back.

Ok if they can get Guardiola. Beyond that there isn't anyone close to Mourinho's pedigree around.

I'd have been waiting to see how things went next season before sacking him.

Mind he is now free to join the Bolton revolution once our billionaire owners are revealed.....

Good. He's a tit. Up to May '15 he's been a tit who got results. Since then he's just been a tit.

I think his strop at Eva Carniero was the beginning of the end.

If anybody knows Eva's twitter account can you let me know as I'd like to invite her round to my place to discuss muscle strains, over Christmas

He's a smarmy, tiresome, smug prick and I only hope that this truly is the last we ever hear of him. 'Best manager ever'? Are you having a laugh here, my friend? :conf:
