Euro Championships 2016

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Aye. Roy has played the same narrow shape each time throwing random combos of players into the team and hoping it would suddenly work. Said from the start he had no idea what his best team or shape was, and that's what happens when you treat friendlies pre tournament as a casual run out rather than setting out the way you want to play and getting the team used to it.

Roy can make no excuses. He's shite. Utter shite.

As for England, well thats what you get for abandoning a decent pass-and-move game for the tried and proved to be a failure same old shite. Pity, thought we were moving in the right direction.
We played exactly the same way in all 4 games. Didn't abandon anything. We've been narrow and played square balls all day long. Iceland showed us how to create chances and they went direct.

Germany get the ball in the box quickly.

Possession football is bollocks. Total and utter bollocks. And thinking having possession matters above all else is why we've been humiliated.

We didn't either pass or move in this game. Its not worth arguing the point, as we looked like winning the other games, we never did with this one.

Iceland actually played strikers today, previous 3 games teams surrendered the park to us. I could have looked good passing sideways as we did.

How many proper chances have we created in 4 games? Barely any. Because we've been slow and predictable.

Iceland the best side we've faced and actually had a plan to attack us unlike the previous 3.

Might be worth mentioning that the cod fishermen played like they wanted to win. 100% effort all game, whilst the Ferrari driving, shampoo advertising cream of the supposed "finest league in the world" played like they were having a holiday kick-about (okay, maybe not that well). This was really disgraceful as we should have seized a supposedly easier draw and blew it. Keep blaming Hodgson isn't the answer. The players were really shocking. Our set pieces ere all wasted by short-balling when our players couldn't beat an egg. In the end, we got what we deserved. Rousing chorus of "God save the Queen" anyone? :(

I'd just like to mention Iceland is about the same size as Leicester with a population of 330,000.

What a joke!

Clueless headless chickens could have played better

Iceland played well, bollocks, we might as well have stuck five men on that pitch tonight.

Hart, someone should shove his head down the bog and drown him next time he's pissing about with his hair.

Both fullbacks were totally clueless.

Dyer, was just that.

Rooney, fcuk off and call time on your international career.

Deli Ali stay behind the counter serving pasta.

Sturridge, can see why you belong on the bench at best

Sterling, just NO

Kane, how the fcuk did he score so many in the Prem?

Both centre backs couldn't organise a tuck shop in a primary school, Cahill is going backwards and t'other well....

They were hundreds of miles away but stunk out my lounge, fcuking useless cnuts.

Gary fcuking Megson sent out better organised teams than the jobless nice person.

I actually feel cheated that Hodgson didn't talk through the game, it was that woeful.

As soon as Butland is fit again......goodbye shampoo man

Both fullbacks were totally clueless.
Had too much to do because all those in front couldn't pass water

Dyer, was just that.
Didn't do much I agree.

Rooney, fcuk off and call time on your international career.
Been pretty decent up to now but wanted time you just don't get at this level.

Deli Ali stay behind the counter serving pasta.
No worse than the rest of the light brigade up front. All pretty gim.

Sturridge, can see why you belong on the bench at best.
Not making excuses for him or Sterling, but the new clogging rules are ruining skilled football.

Kane, how the fcuk did he score so many in the Prem?
Too laid back against a tiger defence. Need more balls into the box than pass the parcel.

Both centre backs couldn't organise a tuck shop in a primary school, Cahill is going backwards and t'other well....
Stones is better than Smalling but we gave possesson away too much up front playing live hand-greande stuff and put the defence under pressure constantly.

They were hundreds of miles away but stunk out my lounge, fcuking useless cnuts.
In short, a night best quickly forgotten. Unfortunately, we'll get a media lacing for a week.

Another decent set of young players wasted another tournament gone because our FA are too clueless to make proper decisions.

Will they go and get a proven international manager with personality and passion? Probably not. Probably give it to bloody Trevor Brooking instead.

Get Klinsmann in. Failing that annoy the 'Ammers and get Bilic.

Bilic would be my preference, or Klinsmann
