Euro Championships 2016

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Portugal are that sort of scabby side that look awful yet manage to go a long way in tournaments.

This isn't a good semi final really. Portugal are good at strangling the life out of games.

Just hope Germany or France smash Portugal in the final. Would be a travesty for them to win this thing.

The Welsh sadly missed Ramsey tonight, they were pretty ineffective TBH. Still well done for getting so far.

Got to get behind the Germans now, good powerful football, could never back the French nor any team with Nani or CR7 in it.

Well I'd never have thought it!

Germany should have been out of sight in the first 45, maybe the managers faith in a misfiring Muller didn't help.

It was pretty awesome football in the first half, ah well guess I have to pick between the lesser of two evils now, the French or Nani and CR7.
French women sound sexy so I guess grudgingly, Viva La France.

It was a fantastic game. 2 excellent teams playing really high standard stuff.

That Griezmann is a wonderful player. Him and Ozil head and shoulders above everybody

I genuinely feel sorry for any player who has to leave the field through injury, thus missing out on what might be a chance for glory. In Ronaldo's case, I'm prepared to make an exception.
Hope is what keeps us going.

Portugal have drawn six of their seven games after ninety minutes. Now they're a moments away from winning the tournament.

Just not him.

What a bobbins tournament. Won by someone who couldn't get in Swansea's team.

Agree that it was not a very good tournament. Apart from NI, Wales and Iceland, everything was a bit meh. Portugal were very average and now that prick Ronaldo has a winners medal.

Fair play to that moth, the first over to Cristiano Ronaldo to comfort him.
