Interesting and compelling piece about why the FA should stop pissing about and give it Sam.

Good idea. About a decade too late. For both parties.

No wins in 90 mins - through to the Semi-Finals

Saw the second half. Well deserved that.
Bale v Ronaldo in the Semi final.
Fellaini is a massive nice person.
Re: Euro Championships 2016
Three English goalscorers lead their country to the semis. We'd have taken that before the tournament!

Massive well done to Wales.
I think realistically they have a decent chance of making the final.
Well done to a team who were up for doing a job, certainly showed our mard arses how to approach a match.

Re: Euro Championships 2016
I have to live in the midst of this fckg madness. My only comeback being that they're this generation's Ireland as 1/3 of the squad aren't actually Welsh ... viz. the 3 goalscorers coming from Wolverhampton, Southampton and Acton.
But all that aside we saw the passion, togetherness and drive that no England team in recent years has come close to having.
Through gritted teeth and closed eyes I say "congratulations" to them.
Now, I'm off to remind them "it's only a game" and to "congratulations am down dear"

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Really showing England up. A team of mainly championship level players totally outperforming England.
Just shows it isn't the quality of our players down the years but a series of other factors. The team spirit in that Wales side is something to behold.

Wales players celebrating England getting knocked out. I would be surprised if they will celebrate that much if they win the whole competition. Sheep shagging w4nkers.Hoboh wrote:Massive well done to Wales.

One of my best friends is Welsh (just about). Has absolutely no interest in football whatsoever - straight on the fecking bandwagon. Wales vs Portugal - I want them both to lose.
May the bridges I burn light your way

Re: Euro Championships 2016
God. That was dull.
I think Italy played for penalties from about half time. Maybe from kick-off. To be honest we may have well have started with the things.
.... & what poor penalties the first 5x2 were.

The Germans seem unbeatable on penalties. Even when they are awful at them the other side do worse.
Honestly think that penalty from Zaza is the worst one I've ever seen.
