If that's his plan against a 3 then he's an idiot (I support the suggestion). Against a 4, sure. With a three the spare man can track Kane if he wants and they still have cover. That's why Sterling and Saka keep running into a crowd. Worse still, Kane just steps into their holding mids.

If the plan was for Kane to drop and us to create overloads in behind then we'd need the midfielders running past Harry. It's not happening.
