European Finals.

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Ok Germany are not very bad. Repeat, *not* very bad.

Abort, abort.
No idea when looking at players why anyone wouldn’t rate the German potential. Outstanding group. Italy, Germany, France or Belgium - hard to look past one of these four in terms of their quality and what we’ve seen so far. Not seeing many dark horses.
I'd back David Wheater to beat Hummels in a race. Rudiger has a mistake in him. Ginter and Goosens are average (though both decent today). They don't know what to do with their best player. And they don't have a reliable goalscorer. They lost 6-0 to Spain less than a year ago and the manager is iffy.

I still don't think they'll win it but they were excellent today and definitely could.

I agree there's no dark horse. I'd still add Spain Portugal and England to the list of could wins. In that order.

Iffy manager who has won the World Cup and managed to produce a number of great sides? I’d take that. Shame if only they had quality like Declan Rice they’d be favourites…oh…

What a game that was. We can pick apart both sides, sure, but it was lovely stuff to watch. Bring on the next game.

Judging by the noise downstairs and the action on the screen I would suggest that I now have a far idea of what 'Lewandoski you tw*t, how did you f*cking miss from there?" sounds like in Polish.

Spain remind me of England. Lot of not quites and build up play that is way too slow. No dynamism.

Spain lack a cutting edge, but create more than England. They are a couple of phases behind where England are supposed to be in their development cycle. A couple of tournaments from now they will be right back up there.

Great free kick from Italy. 8 changes and they still look a really good side to me.

Varratti who has been injured looks absolutely the world class midfield player to me. What England would give for a player like that.

Hartson reckons that that wasn't a deserved red for Pompidou? Really? Mind you, we are talking about someone who once booted a team-mate in the head.

In all honesty I'm debating whether it was 'a clear yellow' or 'at least deserved a yellow'. I've not decided yet tbh.

Awful for Scotland.

That really is bad news for the lad and Scotland. Hope and pray he rides through it.

Bad for England now too, it seems. Two of ours isolated.

Another wonder.

He could sign for Southend.

Come on Sweden!

Spain could easily be 10-0 up here. As bad as Slovakia have been, this is impressive.
