Denmark’s stand
A World Cup in Qatar. Denmark the first country to make a stand against the sexism, homophobia, shocking human rights of the country hosting, but is it just a meaningless gesture when not actually playing would make far more of a point? Should England just go along ignoring it all and turning a blind eye? Is football about more then just the game itself and the issues in Qatar should affect it? There’s talk of as many as 6,500 workers dying related to developing the World Cup infrastructure. That’s a huge cost to human life for sport. Intrigued as to people’s opinions…

Re: Denmark’s stand
Makes you wonder how much people would have to die before any country had enough of an issue to boycott.
