New Licensing regime for cub owners...

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Just seen that - the new owner looks like a character, just watched a video of him singing the wanderer outside the ground! Hope it works out for them - they have been through the mill. Top half finish would be an improvement!
He does know he's not bought us, yeah?

Good luck to them.
I was laughing when he asked the interviewer, "Where's Dorking?"

To be fair, I only know because a company I used to work for was based there. I have absolutely no idea where Wealdstone is though :D
You what? You want some? Do ya?!

So they're losing a million pounds a month and the fans are accusing them of doing it on the cheap? Jeez

Modern football fan innit. ‘Why aren’t you buying our way to the premiership’. I get it Preston fans are frustrated because most clubs of their size who have been in the championship have had a tilt at the premiership and they haven’t.

And don’t look like doing so.

But it’s probably a case of careful what you wish for. Anyone rich and/or daft enough to propel them forward is likely to be a short term thing and we’ve seen the peril in that.

We all say now we’d like to be a well run championship club like Preston. But if we end up there eventually for 5 years we will have fans saying exactly the same thing.

I love our owners but I’m not sure they are in it to pump a million quid in a month. We can’t even compete with Preston financially!
