Bassini's sniffing around Birmingham City.
Recent owners include a bunch of pornographers and a bloke from Hong Kong who's currently in the nick for money laundering.
All fit and proper, apparently

Got to feel for them with Bassini - sounds exactly like the approach he took with us…he’ll be in a local park waving paper round soon enough.

Just read up on it. Absolutely identical. Two bidders in the mix with Bassini claiming a (seemingly) premature victory, armed with a scroll's worth of good intentions.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Tue Jun 14, 2022 11:33 amGot to feel for them with Bassini - sounds exactly like the approach he took with us…he’ll be in a local park waving paper round soon enough.

If it’s any consolation to any Birmingham lurkers, I’ll be very surprised if he ends up owning them. I have him as a total fantasist bordering on someone with a mental illness (not trying to be flippant towards mental illness).

It’s an absolute carbon copy - listen to his talk sport interview from lunchtime! Brings it all back!
Re: New Licensing regime for cub owners...
He's definitely got issues. Insane that he keeps getting let near things.

Rooney is apparently being investigated for paying the wages from May. Seems like another odd offshoot to another odd takeover story.

So, doesn't need Sullivan's (nor anyone else's) money as he has plenty of his own, owns half of Oxford Street, and despite proposing to put less into the club than City have recently spent on two players - is going to win the PL with Birmingham just to piss Simon Jordan off, who, indecently, he's offered outside for a scrap.

Saw that. Takes a lot for me to side with Jordan, but there we are.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Sun Jul 10, 2022 1:39 pmSo, doesn't need Sullivan's (nor anyone else's) money as he has plenty of his own, owns half of Oxford Street, and despite proposing to put less into the club than City have recently spent on two players - is going to win the PL with Birmingham just to piss Simon Jordan off, who, indecently, he's offered outside for a scrap.![]()

The only counter to that is why Talksport keep feeling the need to wind him up on air - I think he’s got genuine issues the way he talks figures - he’s surely not going to buy the club so why keep giving him publicity?

100%. F*cking Jim White the vampire c*nt.
Bassini has issues. Feel sorry for him but it's a shocker that the FA let him anywhere near, and that those pricks have him on so they can tweet his call ins. These are actual football clubs with actual fans.

I see that former Barcelona player, Maxi Lopez and his business partner Paul Richardson are poised to take over at St Andrews after stumping up the requisite deposit of £1.5m
Bonkers Basini had signed the relevant papers but his period of exclusivity expired after, would you believe, he failed to produce any money.

Delighted for Oldham supporters. Frank Rothwell (the guy who rowed the Atlantic, aged 70) has taken over with Joe and Darren Royle appointed to the board. Brilliant news for them.

Just seen that - the new owner looks like a character, just watched a video of him singing the wanderer outside the ground! Hope it works out for them - they have been through the mill. Top half finish would be an improvement!

I was laughing when he asked the interviewer, "Where's Dorking?"Worthy4England wrote: ↑Fri Jul 29, 2022 9:13 amHe does know he's not bought us, yeah?officer_dibble wrote: ↑Fri Jul 29, 2022 7:27 amJust seen that - the new owner looks like a character, just watched a video of him singing the wanderer outside the ground! To be fair, I only know because a company I used to work for was based there. I have absolutely no idea where Wealdstone is though
