Mason Greenwood

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

I know we shouldn't pre-judge without all the evidence, but that's seriously shocking....jaysus wept.

Properly, properly grim.

As you say right that there are legal process etc but this looks a long way from a he said she said. Happy with a (provisional) opinion that he's a horrible little shitbag and I hope he goes down for a long time.

Honestly one of the more sickening things you can find out about on a Sunday morning.

Horrendous.

Obviously needs proper investigation. And on that score he’s been arrested. But as Pru says above forget the law and burden of proof and all that I’ve seen and heard enough to know he’s an odious character.

Well quite, I looked at it as the father of a daughter...I'd be fuming, irrespective of any legal judgement.

Her dad's put out a statement he's got a lot of stick for. I'm sympathetic because how tf can you know how you'd react to that to the media out of the blue. But yeah, he'd be lucky to be in custody.

Investigation etc etc

Moving on from the formalities. Throw the fecking book at him. That audio recording was horrific. We all know that's all too common in society and well done to her for standing up. Brave girl.

Listened to a few seconds of the audio, not knowing the extent of the story. Wish I hadn’t. Had to turn it off. Absolutely sickening.

An announcement was due at 3pm today, which has been delayed. The club, for some reason I cannot understand have announced that they need to get the decision from the Ladies Team

Whilst they should 100% be consulted, it's cowardly and dangerous of them to publicly announce that. The women are already getting abused by 'fans' and a decision has not even been announced

I fear that they've done this so that the ladies will feel bullied into giving his return the green light and the club will then feel they are not answerable to supporters. Particularly female supporters

Unbelievable. It’s abhorrent that they would even consider reinstating him but doing this is beyond disgusting.

Why do the women’s team have to be the moral arbiters for the club? Are the owners and management so lacking in any moral fortitude they have to outsource decisions?

He should have been sacked off a long time ago.

It's took them far too long and they've handled it quite disgracefully, but they have eventually come to the right decision and sacked him off

I'd be surprised at his age, but money talks. I think a short trip down to Paris may be more likely with them losing 2/3rds of their forward line and their star striker off for nothing next summer

PSG is another morality vacuum so it's a good shout, although I do wonder if they're going to change tack from their Cack Galacticos shtick
