Shakers back in business..

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

See the fans have actually saved Bury's neck by buying them and Gigg Lane. Credit to em..

Hmmm, two competing Bury football teams - it struggled to keep one in business.

Surely they'll merge. Good to see them back, and hope that Dale bloke never darkens a football stadium turnstile again.

Hopefully they stay in community ownership in some form, though they will likely need investment at some stage.

From the outside, Rochdale seem to be managing the balance quite well.

Oh I wouldn't be too sure about that. There's something of a schism between the two camps.

Yep, the AFC lot don't think they need the FC lot, as they're doing fine on their own. Depends who the core fans back, I suppose

I'm delighted Bury are getting back to being a proper club again. How long after they full recover do I need to wait until I can start hating them again?

See, other than for when they're playing us, I've always had something of a soft spot for them. It stems from my mate's Dad taking us to watch them when we were kids. It used to work that if we were away - they'd be at home and vice versa.

I've still no idea as to why they used to kick off at 3:15 though.

Never bothered me either way - but I’ve noticed the conflict between FC and AFC and can’t see how they can sustain both as a serious league club, unless one has National League style financial backing?

Seems that the two Bury clubs have agreed to a merger.
Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill!

And the key to a result is a good :kettle:
