Rooney walked out of Derby. Who are on the verge of a takeover. What a shame. Won’t have to see him this season though. Which is good news.

Josh Earl signed for fleetwood. Thought he was ok for us, had those injuries and got recalled from memory so we didn’t see that much of him.

There are a number of players who I truly hope that things work out for, though probably none quite so much as this lad.

Somebody might have to list everyone debt have signed - McGoldrick the latest - he should be handy at this level. Signed alongside Conor Hourihane and James Chester today. They all feel like players taking a step down - could go either way!

McGoldrick's a handful and will give our CB's a world of pain, with his backing in & dropping off. Doesn't many goals over the course of a season, but seems to have his fill against us
