Well, Parky's picked pretty much the only realistic starting eleven that he could. If needs be, I suppose we could always take a risk and bring the wingers on in the late stages if we're chasing something just like we did at Valley Parade.
Iles hasn't heard of any injury to Trotter: "Dropped completely, it would seem". Which is understandable but again restricts options.

What matters more than the players or their positions is their attitude. We need to fight like hell to win this, and we need to be positive and attacking to do so. Get at 'em, get a goal, then keep getting at 'em – I'm not confident we can defend a slender lead, so let's make a big fat f*cker of a lead instead. Simples! :D

Dervite worries the heck out of me. I'd have preferred Vela at RB (assuming that's where he's going) and had Henry or VSO in. I suppose we haven't both Moxey and Dervite on at the same time...silver linings etc :)

First throw goes to the Wombles and..micman has a chat and.....Taylor now and....they clear. Dervite heads it forth, they come back, we sally and get a corner. Morais and....and...back to him and.....Alf, Derik, Taylor.....Vela, cleared and we go again...Vela....and they scuffle it away...Ohhhhhhhh, Wheater can't believe a wonder save from the Womble keeper prevents him scoring.

Elliot fouls Thorpe and we go quickly with it..and eventually they clear. Positive start claim micman and Zico. Now then, Vela comes, they clear, we recover and charge them again. Taylor, Thorpe, Wheater, Derik and....a throw them as Sheffield strike already elsewhere.....and....Alf does well and wins us a corner.

Morais, in and....short and poor and wasted. They clear and get a throw. A positive start is the claim. Zico mumbles some wisdom in Aramaic then they sally forth. Alf and Taylor challenge but they come at us.Ends in a goal kick. Alf, they clear from him, Derik, Vela, they clear and long-ball at Elliot. Comments already about the officials as they get a corner. Outswung and eventually a poorish header goes away with the fairies. We go now and Morais attacks....Derik, Taylor and....Derik, in and Madine shepherded away and cleared. They get a throw on halfway.

Blades go 2-0 up at Dale but I don't think that's much of our concern any more.

Just reading how Scunny's chairman has had to call for calm after six winless games have led to "rumours of contract disputes, unrest in the team, a not-bothered attitude" etc. Meanwhile, the manager's telling one of his players to grow up. I'd say "trouble in paradise?" but if Scunny's paradise then we have been grossly misinformed.

Charles strides forward for them....just as Sheffield score a second. Taylor, ...throw us now and...Madine involved but they get a free kick. They defend well and stop our good attack, b ut a goal righ now could set the pattern. WE SCORE.....madine...... :oyea:

A 91st minute winner from Long after a one sided battering. Missed opportunities, woodwork battered and bruised, a crowd so appalled by the refereeing that they'd been praying for another collapse in the tunnel at half time, will all add up to a relief so profound the cheers will be heard in Scunthorpe.
Hate to spoil your imaginary finish, but Long got sent off and will presumably not be turning up today. Not to worry, Gaz will be there to spectacularly miss the target :D
Clearly some reverse psychology there

I'm going to ak for another goal, possibly two to take into the break. Sounding pretty solid at the moment but let's not get complacent...Vela pressures Charles and it all ends back with our net man. Throw now, Taylor, and Alf wins a free kick. Zico having a howl at the ref then Morais takes the kick and.....Rochdale get one back on Sheffield as the Wombles have a sniff....and a goal kick us.

Keeper nips out and clears and sends it wallopwards. Derik, Madine, Morais, Vela, some mither from micmen and...then....come on lads, one goal isn't safe. We get a throw. Confusion in the box about offside ruke then Morais goes, Thorpe hits a defender and then another. Beever now getting the good words. No foul given...again, now throw them and Zico has a cackle...about something, probably an official. They Womble forth, we get a throw...

Derik.....keeper grabs and clears. They come, Vela gets it and Morais and Madine have a dabble. They clear again and then win a throw. Charles starts forth to halfway....then...mic lads have a chat, Zico has a cackle and we get a free kick.
Some irrelevent scores, we try again, keeper collars and clears. That goal about now would be very nice lads.....Madine gets it, they recover and Wheater steps up for us. They come again a bit sharpish and cause some panic as Thorpe balloo ns one and....they get a corner. Looking interested now and....mic lads reckon we were a bit lucky....well, Zico doesn't.
Vela clears , they recover, it gets back to Benn who wallops forth. Throw us now and...They sally at us again. We need to turn the pressure back on and we're sounding abit shaky as....we go to Bury

Some back and forth and micman reckons they're getting into it. We're giving it away a bit easily says mic man. Come on lads, let's not get into them equalising again. Press the advantage and go in strong....Uncle Bulgaria and co won't give in easily so we need to turn some screws. Beevers, sends it back to them after the stoppage. Zico has a screech at the official again then they get a throw that goes backwards. Throw them again as mic man give them their full A.F.C title. They come again and....it goes to Ben....Sounding pleanty to and fro, some talk of our injuries then Alf goes and.....Vela lets it go back to them.

Wheater clears well with a stop and they're still trying. Goal kick us after that Wheater stop. Come on lads, we don't soun d to be troub ling them too much right now. They come again and....we clear and...they get a quick throw. Taylor clears for another throw them. We can't get away and......they equalise.....1-1....shxt..
