It'll be a long thread by the time we play the final, Tango.

Next to fck all when you compare teams. Foresteri, Rhodes, Winnal, Wallace, Bannan. They could all get in our side with only one leg.

Talk of changes on Tower, with Robinson, Wilbraham, Little, Buckley Armstrong and Darby mentioned ...

Five mins to High Noon (ah, okay 8'0 clock then). Dog's just trotted in and settled down by the radio to listen to the adverts for tiles and kitchens and things. Ah, off to the Macron now..and already news of the two thousand years ( 1999)since we last beat Wednesday. Hull game is Friday by the way for anybody not realising. Bit of fan noise emanating from the box as we kick off. We sally at em from the off and when the mic lads remember to let us know what's going on,well.....we'll know.
Talk of 3-5-2 being the set up for both sides, at least right now. Visitors get the first free kick and....we clear via Beevers. Robinson goes, but a throw results. We have a free now in the middle and....and...chat, chat.....and...cleared and they have a sally at us. Now they have a corner and...we clear. Back they come....and...Armstrong gets forward but they clear and we get an offside free kick.

They get a shot in but well wide. More chat-chat in the box, some scores then....we have a sally. Robinson loses out but we go back and....we do well via Little and get a header wide. Dervite goes back to our keeper and walloped forward. Visitors come at us and try our defence out but we clear and Robinson goes. Cleared by Bannon (David Webb is the ref) then...Wilbraham and Armstrong but it doesn't quite come off. Darby, Buckley.... and Karajan gets a yellow for high feet and the visitors get a free. They pass it forward and Rhodes lurks but to no avail. . We go now and Buckley sends one in. Thet clear, we recover and go back. Little loses out and Wallace tries it. Bannon goes now and Forestieri(sp) and mic lads hav e abit of chat before Wallace comes again. Now us and....Buckley gives one away (powdr puf reckons mic man)..

Beevers wins a throw and.....now they have it back and press us. Litttle feeds Karajan and mention of a forward pass (surely not?) anyway, we have a free kick and Buckley and.......and....a decent ball is cleared but back it goes and we are offside. Bannon again and somebody I can't pronounce gets it going. Beevers clears our lines, they come back again and...(mic man reckons it's all a bit scrappy). A goal now after our bit of decent work would be nice. One of theirs gets a bit of treatment....and then....mic lads have a chat. Later, (Leeds 1 down apparently). We go from deep and some sartorial remarks on the managers gear, then Robinson, Buckley, Wilbraham and....offside. ( Aye, Spots, dogs doing fine)....Meanwhile....Karajan, Buckley, Wilbrahim again and....cleared by Bannon. We sound to be threatening so we need to make use of that and score. Another attack doesn't produce much but the miclads are praising our efforts. Visitors come forth and....Wallace and....Dervite clears. Mic man rackons two and a half to three thou visiting fans in evidence. Wilbrahim tries but they clear and come at us again. Back they come via Forestieri....and a few others...ahem....and some scores and....Walace tries again.......Bannon, Reece, Forestieri and.....we clear and break but it comes to naught. Sounds a decent start. Armstrong, Buckley and they clear for a throw to us.

Dervite fouls Rhodes and gets yellow carded for his trouble. Free kick them, half hour gone and....Dervite deflects it out for a corner. And....Rhodes heads one over the bar. They sally forth again and have a bit of possesion. Forestieri getting plenty mention then....we set off...they clear but back we go. Throw them now and they pass it about. Another try but we clear partially. Mention of a good shape from our lads but back they come again. Visitors drive forth and send one wide via Winnel after a good dummy from Rhodes. Winnel (sp?) has another part chance but no cigar. Us now and....Armstrong and...cleared but back again and we win a corner after good work from Karajan. Buckley and.....and....ohhhh a bit of a chance there but headed just wide. Karajan and.....Buckley loses out to the defender but we get another corner. And......and....Buckley again and...part cleared and...yet another corner. Surely we can capitalise on one.......and....in and....we get a free kick as Forestieri fouls Darby?....(Millwall and Reading 1-1) and...bUCKLEY IN AND.......1-0 US.......Derviteeeeeee :oyea:

Dervite lashed one in after a bit of goal mouth and our pressure at last paid off. Keep it up lads....Darby gets a bit of treatment.

Bannon, Rhodes....cleared off the line and....ohhhhh volleyed over the bar by Wallace....Blocked by Dervite and the defence gewtting the good words. Dervite, Wilbraham and cleared and....back they come. Us, them, Bannon gets forward and almost gets a sgot in. 3 mins added as we almost get a chance after a box error by their defender. Little getting goods words, Dervite gives one away a bit near our box and....and....and.....mic lads have mumble and....Forestieri lands one on the net roof. Must be Lucozade time now surely.....Cleared us and..Armstrong gets a shot in but wide. And....at half time it's Bolton 1, Sheffield 0.
