If someone could kindly post a list of current out of work managers I'd give an opinionLeverEnd wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2017 4:56 pmWho would you replace him with?Peter Thompson wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2017 4:53 pmParkinson needs to go for me....
Nice guy - but he's so out of his depth in the championship
But its clearly not working with Parkinson is it, the excuse of most championship teams being of such a higher quality that we shouldn't be expected to compete clearly only applies to us....not Millwall, Burton, Bristol City etc.
Never mind losing - we can't even score a fecking goal. Managers are paid to win games of football....2 points from 8 games is not acceptable, none of this managing with hands tied behind his back - Millwall beat Leeds today, Burton beat Fulham with Sordell in the side - 4 points adrift after 8 games.....
Can someone tell me who our winnable games are....as we now need around 13/14 wins from 38 games

From my perspective from the armchair, it's getting a bit predictable now. It'll be interesting to see how long this goes on for with the new ownership after the previous ownership having been always slow to act.
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

He has to go.
The two West Ham lads aren't ready for championship football.
Clutching at straws but wonder if Moyes fancies it? Needs to rebuild his reputation...

I'll throw Pearson and Karanka into the mix... again, very unlikely but can't think of many who are available on a free who I would take...
Giggs, Phealan, Puel are others who I wouldn't want...

I don't think Mourinho could get this squad to win the games we have had. The players aren't good enough, and we have too many issues, including not being able to take chances, and having a weak midfield. If that is not enough we could throw in dodgy keepers, and defensive stalwarts from last year being exposed for lack of pace.

I fully agree with you PT. Milwall is a great example and we must be comparing ourselves against the likes of them, Burton, Bristol etc... As it stands we are streets away from them. People need to realise that we haven't come close to winning a football game this season.Peter Thompson wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2017 5:41 pmMillwall finished 10 points behind us last season....

Looking at those results today and the championship is looking really competetitve. All this talk of mini leagues...the only team in a mini league is us!
I cant see how changing manager is right - the embargo wasn't parkys fault.
Having said all that I think he has signed poorly - two west ham players, shit, Buckley, fcking pointless, Darby etc...and its obvious he is struggling for a system that gets Madine a partner but provides stability. Unless we get permission to start 12 players there is no formation I can see that works with this squad.
I would be happy with 23rd and not being a joke this season. Roll on League One again.

How can anyone disagree that we shouldn't be performing equally to Milwall? They also didn't spend a single penny...Peter Thompson wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2017 6:00 pmA word of warning please don't agree with me, you wont be popular on here....enrdentw wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2017 5:47 pmI fully agree with you PT. Burton also haven't spent... Milwall may have spent having looked closer at their trad get dealings...

Makes my correctly predicted scoreline more difficult to swallow then.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2017 1:09 pmThey've had three centre-backs out injured. Up the other end, at 5ft10 each, both Joe Garner and Martyn Waghorn are more than half a foot shorter than Wheater.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2017 7:58 amMick Mac's side eh?! So they'll have massive CB's and we're shit up top anyway. So nil to us is inevitable. Their centre forwards will be massive as well and will bully our lot at the back. 2-0 to the Tractor Boys.

Nah. Not for me. He worked miracles last year and deserves a crack at keeping us up.Peter Thompson wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2017 4:53 pmParkinson needs to go for me....

Yes but you have to bear in mind that the Millwall players (although we beat them twice last year) are so much better than ours - none of our players would get anywhere near to the Athletico Millwall team....enrdentw wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2017 6:19 pmHow can anyone disagree that we shouldn't be performing equally to Milwall? Its not Parkinson's fault that other teams around our level (Millwall, Bristol City, Brentford, Barnsley, Burton), can actually play football, score goals and win games....none of our players have played at this level before (apart from 11 or 12 of them) and even if they have all of a sudden they now can't.....but its not Parkinson fault or the fact that none of his back room staff have never coached above League 1 level

He did really well last year getting us promoted - but with a squad of players every other team in the division apart from Sheff Utd would have loved to have had....and would have expected to have gone up

Redknapp gone.

After the shit he inherited last year, Parky has the rest of the season and half of the next for me.
