We've won a free kick. And it goes.."aimlessly out" Twenty mins to go and " back it goes to Howard". Hernandez arrives for them and Noone leaves for Earing? for us.

We are sounding very far away from Championship standard never mind Prem right now, sad to say. A Hammer falls out of the tree and the physio appears. Media frenzy produces the sheets and pitchforks already and the newly arrived Hernandez hobbles to the sideline then comes back to the game. On it goes....

Liner makes a mistake and gives one of theirs offside. Noble leaves for xxxx?? We have six passes then....Morais ....loses it. Bit of handbags between Pratley and Hernandes then Armstrong replaces ....Alf??....well, not yet. It's King that leaves.

Free kick us and...meanwhile....we try again and....Robinson goes and.....we get a corner. Time to score three??? And....Morais and.....and....the ref gives them a free kick. Wilbraham gets a free kick and.....Morais and....a corner......and....Morais again and...Beevers heads to the keeper.

Whatever team we put out they start just going through the motions. In a way the embargo helped Parky cos it quite rightly bought him more time and understanding. The atmosphere is going to turn on Saturday I fear. Players simply are mot stepping up and playing with any pride.
I wonder what it's like at Brentford, where the home side are losing 3-0 to Norwich...

Pratley gets a booking...??? Armstrong, Alf and....oohh, a bit of good play and we get a free kick. Morais now and......and......and.....and...they clear. Robinson holding his back...apparently....and onwards. Two minutes and....wallop time and....we get it back to Howard. Alf wins it....Armstrong...Earing....Morais and....Pratley twice and....a throw us. They clear and get a late throw. Four to go......and it looks like the West Ham Way (and brass) has won the day. Three, Two, One....and Earing can't find a White shirt.

So, in summary: We lost 3-0 away to a Premier League side with some young lads, two loanees who were ineligible, half a dozen injuries and no real surprises.....and the twitter sharks call for Parky out. Sometimes, just sometimes.....

Must be a serious lack of confidence somewhere. We have people like Alf, Madine and Armstrong capable of scoring goals up front and two centre backs who scored fifteen between them last season. Add in Karajan, Morais and hopefully, soon , Sammi Ameobi and it all looks a wee bit puzzling.

Madine is a target man not a goalscorer. To be fair to Parky the one thing he has comaiatently tried to do (which those before him didnt) is get Madine a partner who can score goals. Unfortunately its like the old leaky bucket analogy. Plugging the forward gap with for all intents and purposes what are essentially League 1 players means he weakens the team elsewhere.

Vela as our regular midfield goalscorer is a massive miss. Will him and Ameobi get us some goals when they are back? Enough to not need a partner for Madine?

FWIW I don't think Le Fondre is good enough. Armstrong may be...but is struggling to establish himself yet. Wilbraham was a backup desperation signing.

Back to our leaky bucket and the most worrying thing is how many soft goals we concede. We either ship in the first 20 minutes softly or straight after half time. We havent had a lead in a league game all season to even try to hang on to!

As for twitter trolls anything but a win on saturday and the crowd are going to turn. We've bought all the losing to bigger, richer clubs bollocks up to now. I imagine Brentford were atill able to pay transfer fees this summer so is it still fair to expect a win? He has to send out a solid organised team as a minimum for me. Watching Beevers pull out of challenges or seeing a midfield overrun or being tactically outfought is not an option.

Ah well, on we bat. I'd have liked to see Jake Turner - I see Howard made one save all night, bless him - but hey ho, on we go.

Our season really and truly begins on Saturday. Win and all in the past is forgiven. Lose, though not the end of the world, will leave us staring down the abyss.

That was pathetic. Walking out to our (universal) free upgrade to the better (not not closed) part of the stadium, via a walkway that made you feel like Mercury at Wembley, to see us collapse in 7 mins. We didn't remotely compete in what must be the worst place to watch football. Everything that is bad about everything.

Thought Parky would make us difficult. Not with 3.

I felt like an extra in blade runner. Only thing worse would be going there week in week out.

we said the same; impressive stadium, but absolutely horrific place to watch football!!

as i mentioned earlier, it was my first game of the season. i wasnt expecting much, but i had no idea we are that bad. the gulf was colossal last night.
