I'm doing my best to lift this miserable thread.
Matts just signed for Blackpool on a free transfer! Curtis Nelson is a very good defender who is well respected and we'll courted in the lower leagues! We wouldn't be able to afford him.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Oh they're quite used to my shit jokes, which bounce off their carefully-constructed carapace of ceaseless social-media scrutinisation.

Course, they'd think it wonderful if murmured by some fin-haired twunt on YouTube commentating on himself playing a computer game. :D

Today is apparently THE day (BB makes coffee, sits on couch, sticks Peep Show on catch up and opens Marc Iles' Twitter feed in expectation of not one, not two, but possibly 3 PSG's..........)

Interesting words on Jamie Proctor from a Bradford fan, writing on LoVS. Basically: big strong hard-working target-man, not very prolific but should link well with a small goalscorer.

Well, quite. It should also be pointed out that Proctor's strike rate rose under Parky to 6 in 20 – and that all those goals won points except the last one, a consolation in the play-offs.

So embargo not really lifted. Allowed to sign players on a one in one out basis it seems.

Which is a bit of a bugger when you haven't got a big squad.

Better than nothing I suppose, but shows the league still have concerns with our financial future.

:P Not at the moment. Progress is being made and we seem to be getting things together. We won't storm the league next season but hopefully we will be a bit more competitive.

I've no idea whether Taylor is a good signing or not. But, the simple fact that we've signed someone feels like we've got our club back. Ish.

Iles sounds like he doesn't actually know what the restrictions looks like. He wrote int hat piece:
"But The Bolton News understands the club will still be operating within restrictions laid down by the league – which could mean “one in, one out” for the foreseeable future."
Pfffft.

Eaves did join Yeovil yesterday but he was out of contract anyway, I think.

Actually aren't we about 15 players lighter than we were on Thursday?
