Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

They also played their League Cup game on Thursday 'cos it were on t'telly. Which is why they played Sunday, and moved ours back 24 hours from its original Tuesday (when everyone else in the division is playing).
Rovers lost on the opening day, 3-1 at Scunny despite going ahead through Matt "not that one" Taylor, last season's top Football League scorer. He bagged again today, the winner in a 2-1 over fellow promotees Oxford, but he didn't score in the extra-time 1-0 League Cup win over Cardiff which means they play Chelsea six days after we play them. I dare say Parky might note that with such a date so close on the horizon, these opponents may not fancy 50/50s.

They're apparently unbeaten in 15 home games, having won 14 and drawn 1 of them!!!
