Crawford on the other hand is having a stinker
Like majority of the season. If he’s half as good as people make out he should be dominating midfield in this league. Yet he’s a weak liability.
Still think Doyle's stealing a living too? Or have you focused your negativity just on the one carrot-top these days?

Clearly Crawford can do better, but change the track now and again, eh? It's bad enough when we're losing without the inevitable doom-clang accompaniment.
He’s been poor all season. And you know it. He’s a shadow of what we saw last season and it’s frustrating to say the least. We know he’s got quality but he’s got to get himself involved far more than he is.

Santos is paying for those good games.

He's having a mare today.

He’s got a right handful up against him. Has been pressed continually on the ball and it’s clear he can’t handle it. Same as per early season.

He has though had absolutely no shield in midfield and that’s a glaring problem. All the time he’s having to deal with the ball in at the striker.

Awful from Santos, gave the ball away but should have just stood his ground instead of wrestling him to the ground.

Port vale have done a number on us to be fair. Looked stronger and they have pressed us in the right areas. They will just spend the second half time wasting.

Kioso has noticeably looked off the pace today too and I think he’s been a main reason we’ve done well of late. Do have to say though that a pattern is that any team with pace who play down the channels have beaten us this season and that’s exactly what PV are doing. That problem has not gone away.

Nah. Gilks has made three saves. We’ve been way way second best. PV have impressed me. Direct, quick, organised. Work very very hard. Physical.

The co commentator chap has nailed it re Santos, they have exposed his weaknesses today. He’s had no time on the ball

It's goals that count. Nothing else matters, except if you're a Bolton supporter, then you have to win and play like Barcelona too. We do talk a good game.

Missed the first 25 but then thought we were looking good for an equaliser. Then that from Santos.
He has to change midfield but no idea how he can without going more defensive when we need to chase the game.
It's looking a bit grim.
We're in a good run though, lost a key player and it's one game.

We’ve missed Tutte on the physical side. What I would say is this isn’t a performance like we were making earlier this season, so we could still get back into it. But I think PV have done a number on us and I can’t see them relinquishing a 2 goal lead.
