We looked weaker on Tuesday when the subs came on. If Sarc is available then I'd be tempted to start him with Lee and MJ mopping up behind. George and Tutte to bring fresh, busy legs on at the hour mark to protect our lead.

Good news re Sarc and John. Sarc has been out many weeks. It always takes a couple games to get up to match speed after a long layoff. Unfortunately we dont have that luxury, but I would prefer to bring him on against tiring players rather than starting him and throwing him in the deep end risking all. Our midfielders have been tiring in the second half and Tutte isnt trusted to come on. Sarce coming on would definitely an ace up our sleeves.

A nil-nil affair with a fraught last 20 minutes for us, but a well-earned point. ;)

A 1-0 "Panic Fannies" win would be better.

I'm so nervous about this game, I can't bear to watch and will probably avoid knowing the score until well after the final whistle.

I feel exactly the same. Problem is - I can't think of anything that can sufficiently distract me for two hours, to such an extent that I won't find myself glued to my phone anyway. :?

Be a mix of nerves and excitement for the game but don’t forget the ten year journey of pure shite to get here. We might win, draw or lose but we’ve had a good go after January and no matter what happens tomorrow - We’re Bolton Wanderers and we are on our way back.

feck Ken Anderson.
feck his prick of an agent son, and their wives.
feck Dean Holdsworth.
feck all the people who creamed a living off us without the clubs best interests at heart.

And thank you Sharon Brittan and Michael James - can’t wait to get back to the ground whatever league we will be in.

Playing the same players for virtually every game since the transfer window is starting to take it's toll, in my opinion. I'm hoping we can limp over the promotion line, but recent performances are not filling me with confidence.

Sarce, if fit, is a huge boost for us and my expectation is he will get at least the last half hour. If I were Evatt I'd actually be tempted to stick him in from the start because of his goal threat and the fact it would allow Lee to drop back alongside MJ (I don't like the Thomo-MJ combo very much).

1-2 Bolton.

Be not afraid citizens, we will show our true mettle tomorrow. We're not a one man team, so Sarce should be a bonus rather then a solution. One or two shots the right side of the posts and a ref who is on top of things (Oh for a Pierre Luigi Collina) and we'll do the business. We haven't come all this way to lose now....COME ON YOU WHITES..... :oyea: :oyea:

I will be out tomorrow afternoon so will no doubt do my usual trick of not checking the score and logging straight into this match thread. I’ll try to read comments from the start in chronological order, but will panic when I see the thread is up to 18 pages, not knowing whether this mean we’ve thumped them, being thumped, or just doing nothing and we’re all moaning....

This. Whatever happens we're all Wanderers, it's our club, and it's looking a lot healthier now.

You find out what you’ve got in games like these. Real people are driven on by pressure. They thrive on it and perform to their peak. I hope they embrace the pressure and enjoy it as Evatt is suggesting. It’s the only way.

Chances to achieve glory are all too fleeting and you never know what happens. So grasp it with both hands and do the job, there may be no tomorrow’s or no second chances. Take it whilst it’s there.

My lack of optimism has dissipated and I've decided we're going to shit em.
The pressure and need to perform will bring the best out in them. COYW!!!

Biggest game of the season today in a game that could see us out of the title race all together and clinging onto automatic promotion or a win could see us all but promoted. A draw today would see us still leave all avenues open of course.

It's rare that we have games of this magnitude so hopefully it'll be an enjoyable one.
